Belonging is where learning begins.
We believe all students can learn and have the right to learn. Inclusion has been part of Heritage College since our early years, shaping how we understand and support our learners.

Seeing the individual
Students bring different strengths, experiences and ways of learning. Our approach respects those differences and gives learners room to develop at their own pace while working towards their potential.
Personal attention, care and follow-up help us understand students as individuals.
Participation and support
Interactive, multisensory learning encourages students to take an active role in their education. Individual attention and one-to-one work are part of the school's approach to support.
For learners who benefit from a different pathway, the school offers life-skills learning and a transition program alongside its academic programs.
A partnership with families
Learning involves students, parents, educators and the wider community. We invite families to speak with us about their child's needs, strengths and hopes, and to explore the support available at Heritage.
